Taxis

Taxis are public transportation that uses cars to transport passengers. Taxis are generally used sedan type car, but in some countries there are also taxi type van which can carry more passengers or cargo.

Taxi tariff is calculated in two ways:

* Use the meter - calculated automatically depending on the amount of distance traveled
* Based on the agreement - the passenger and the driver agree on the tariff before (sometimes can also after) the journey

The main difference between taxis with public transportation other modern land as lies in the number of bus passengers. Using cars, taxis can only load about 4 people on board, and passengers are usually located in a group.

* Volkswagen Santana in China.
* Toyota Vios Limo in Indonesia.
* Toyota Corolla in Thailand, the Philippines, and Indonesia.
* Toyota Camry in Taiwan and the Middle East.

The term "taxi" can also refer to public transportation other than cars that carry passengers in a small capacity, such as "water taxis", which is probably just a canoe.

Water Taxi

Water taxi boat which can be rowed or equipped with engines (outboard) which can be rented for a trip or a certain time. Water Taxis are found in the towns through which major rivers such as in Palembang, Samarinda or lake lane like Parapat, Tarutung.
