Electric car (English: electric vehicle) is a car that uses electricity as a source of energy.
According to Internatonal Standard (ISO 8713:2002) Car Listik known in terms of electric road vehicles in the United States developed into two (2) types, including; Zero Emission Vehicles (Zev) and Low Emission Vehicles (Lev). Electric cars are categorized into Zero Emission Vehicles a Car batteries (Battery Operate) and fuel cell cars. While the Lev is categorized into a car that combines driving system of conventional engines with electric motors (Hybride cars). Developing various technologies related to electric cars, can be described briefly as follows:

Hybrid car technology hybrid cars popularized by Toyota and Honda are, as a solution to save fuel and overcoming environmental pollution. How machines work with the principle of regenerative power (rechargeable / recharging when the vehicle is in operation) on hybrid engines, as opposed to a car full of electricity.
